Apply FOR FILM FUNDING THRU TXCFEI

1. Your idea must be developed into a completed book and/or screenplay; 

2. Your work must be registered with the official U.S. Copyright Office  through the Electronic Copyright Office (eCO) system; 

3. At least 60% of your cast, crew, and filming must involve Texas residents and take place within the state of Texas.  

4. We are seeking films that will strengthen and encourage the Body of Christ through wholesome entertainment, helping spread the Gospel, and/or shedding light on important issues. We also desire to support productions that cultivate a positive, Christ-centered behind-the-scenes environment—one that upholds Christian values and principles, such as prayer on set, honoring God in speech and conduct, and creating a respectful and encouraging workplace for everyone involved.

We desire to help Christian filmmakers bring their projects to life so that funding does not become a roadblock to the ministry and message the Lord has placed on their hearts. While recipients will be required to provide documentation showing how the funds are spent, filmmakers will retain complete creative control over their projects and the way they feel the Lord is guiding them to tell their stories.
